The Solutions Company meeting room booking agent

Sue Briggs -

Sue began her career, in hospitality sales and marketing , 14 years ago and has worked for Choice Hotels, Macdonald Hotels and the Principal Hayley Group.
She has enjoyed hotel based Sales/ Business Development roles in County Durham, Northumberland and Yorkshire. Each location having very different sales and marketing needs, which has given Sue a broad knowledge of the incredibly diverse hospitality industry.
Her role with Principal Hayley was as Central Conference Office Sales Manager, based at their Head Office in Harrogate. Sue headed up a team of seven who looked after all of the incoming enquiries for 21 properties throughout the UK and in Europe; this role gave an even wider experience, and understanding, of the needs of agency and direct bookers.
Prior to moving into the hospitality industry, Sue worked for many years in leisure and business travel. She thought moving into hospitality sales would be similar – how wrong that perception was! Both careers, however, have been service and customer focused – satisfying her need for close working relationships, with clients and colleagues alike.
Sue is delighted to be working with Liz & Lewis. Her first meeting, with Liz, was a few years ago, when they both worked for the same company. They hit it off immediately and out of a business relationship grew a great friendship.
